Back from Arizona and lots to talk about and see

Well I am back home now and I had so much fun.. We did so many things while I was there. I wish I was still there but we always have to come home to work and life. My weekend with my family was so much fun and needed though. It had been way too long since I have seen them. I will have a couple different slide shows of what we did when I was there. It was so amazing though and the kids are getting so big. Before I got there I had gotten everyone Halloween shirts so we could all wear them when we went to pick out our pumpkins. That is why in a lot of the pictures you will see us wearing Halloween shirts. The first one is of Schnepf farms. we had so much fun here and the kids loved it. Hayden new how to not wait in lines for all the rides. He just walked right under the chains and got on.. It was pretty funny. We finally figured out why he was getting on so fast. One of the last things we did there was went through the corn maze. Somehow we ended up getting out but it was not at the exit. we were on the back side so we decided just to be done since it was getting late and we were getting hungry. Well on our walk to get out we passed by the train and in one section where the train drives by were little grave's. Well at the end there was a box where you would put a mummy in. Nolen got a great idea and decided he was going to lay in this box and when the train came by, he would jump up and scare everyone. I have a video of it so look for that. It is short and I did not do a very good job of videoing it. I was holding carter so it was a little awkward but funny still. You can get the idea... Nolen maybe didn't think it was such a great idea after he got up and had a huge bug bite on him. oh well it was funny...

On Saturday,
We also went and watched Adalyn play soccer that morning. After the game we went and had a pre birthday, birthday party for Carter. he got a lot of great presents that his brother and sisters loved.. He loved them too. It was really cute to watch him open them. This was the first birthday of his I have been able to be at. After he opened all his presents and played with them for a while and we ate cake and ice cream. As you will notice in the pictures there are 4 candles on his cake. Don't get worried if you think you missed a birthday of his. You didn't. He only turned three. He just had to have an extra candle on his cake. After that we all got ready to go to Hayden's soccer game. It was so cute. His team didn't have enough players so on game had to be 2 on 3 and the other was 3 on 3. He got put on the 2 on 3 team and it was the cutest thing. He scored a goal and was so excited... It did get pretty physical too. I won't say quite what happened besides he got mad and kicked one girl in the shins . and pushed a kid down. They were just as physical with him. Little kids are so fun to watch. It didn't help with his Papa yelling on the side lines fight em' kick em' push em'. he really did listen.. It was so much fun to watch them though. Here are some pictures from the games and the birthday party...

Here are some of the other random pictures that I took this weekend. As you can tell, we had so much fun.. I need to see them more often and not let so much time pass by. There were so many memories we made this weekend. I will cherish them forever..

In loving memory

I wanted to put a memory slide show of some of the fun moments of my loving mother since on this Friday It will be 6 years since she has returned home to our Heavenly Father. I miss her dearly and think of her always. I know that she is in a much better place and doing such marvelous work where she is. She is looking down on all of us and watching over us. We all miss her but I know she would not want us to be sad.. she wants us all to be happy and enjoy the times that we had with her. I have a hard time thinking that way some days but its true. She would want us to all be happy. She brought such a light to all of us and we have so many great memories. I have put together a slide show of some of the moments. We have way to many pictures to have put them all on. I really had to work with the ones that were on my computer already and I had to pick through some. I am sure I could have made a 2 and a half movie out of her. I love you mom and miss you. Thank you for all that you have given me and done for me in my life. You were such a wonderful example to me and I hope I can be half of what you were. I love you and think of you always. I know you are watching over us. I love you

Is It time yet.....

So I keep asking myself if it is time yet... First off, Nolen is moving to Arizona... He is actually leaving Idaho tomorrow and is going to stop off at my house first. I am excited to see him also I get to meet Aimee and I will be the first in my family to see Kane... I am excited for that. Then on Thursday, Zac, Nolen, Aimee, Kane, and I are all going to Gilbert... I can't wait. Zac and I are going to be staying with Cory and his family. It has been 6 months since I have seen them. I can not wait to see them again. My dad is going to come down for the weekend as well. It will be a great weekend. We will all be there as a family for a very meaningful weekend for my family. We have not all been together for this time of year in a while. I will be sure to take lot of pictures of everything...

Tagged!!

Well I was Tagged thanks to Kacy.. The rules are, you have to post the 4th picture in your 4th folder in your pictures file. Give a description of the picture before tagging a few more friends... And here's mine:

this Picture is of my family at Lake Powell... I was really young as you can see. This has got to be some of my favorite memories and my favorite place to be. This was actually our family reunion. WE always had so much fun here and had a lot of great times. My mom always taught us how to ski and helped all of us getting used to the water when we were little by playing motor boat with us. There are so many great memories that this picture brings me but if I talked about all of them I would have written a book. Thanks Kacy for tagging me. I had fun and I was interested which picture it was going to end up being. Now I tag Aimee, Jenny and Aunt Julie.. It's your turn to have some fun...

Embarrassing moment

So the other night I had such an embarrassing moment. It had to do with my bowling night. I finally got my own ball and shoes. Yes I am now officially a bowling geek. Well I was so excited to get it. When it came it was a lot lighter than what I use so I was not too excited about that but I thought oh well Zac can use it as a spare ball. With this in mind I decided to get the holes drilled a little bigger for me so he can fit the tips of his fingers in the holes. Well when they were drilling my ball the drill shifted and in one of my fingers there is a huge chunk taken out. Now, I can really only hold it with two fingers since the other hole is so messed up. They are going to fix it, they are just waiting for the right piece to get in. Well I forgot my towel to wipe the grease off of my ball so I was using my hand. This particular time I used the hand I bowl with and I didn't get all the grease off... anyways I went to throw my ball and when I came back I felt my hand slipping from the grease and since I could only use to fingers to hold it, It was not a very good combination... on my way to throw it forward i dropped it and it started rolling backwards towards everyone... for those of you who have bowled on the wii you know what it looks like when the ball goes the people sitting behind you... this was me and it kept rolling in the other lane back towards the other teams and here I am bent down chasing my ball... I was so embarrassed and of course Zac has to say " and how old are you" after that... I used a different ball and will continue to use a different ball until mine gets fixed and can use all of my fingers and will not get the grease off of it with my hand anymore...

home videos

Well last night I started watching some more home videos. I don't think I have laughed this hard in such a long time. I was just in that mood to laugh at everything. and not just a quite little chuckle I mean laugh out loud make your stomach hurt laughing. laughing to the point where Zac comes in the bedroom and asks do you really have to laugh that hard? Of course I did... right it was really funny and I have not seen it in a long time. Now you may be wondering what it was i was laughing at. Well one Christmas I got a hula-hoop and my brothers got boxing gloves. If you have seen this video, you know why I was laughing. Well, my brothers start boxing and Nolen gets really upset because he says Cory pushed him into the bike. He sits in the chair and does a little pouting about it. My parents are egging him on and telling him come on just box you are ok. So he gets back up and he is mad he ducks his head and just starts swinging his arms around and around and doesn't stop. It was pretty funny. You will just have to see it. But, the really really funny part came when we were hula-hooping. First my dad gets all excited and starts telling us how is the hula-hoop champion of Show low, AZ. He does get it down and when it falls he jumps out and does this funny thing with his arms. But thats not it, have any of you seen Grandpa Abbott try and hula-hoop. That is a sight that you all should see. It is pretty dang funny. He just gets up there and wiggles his whole body. I love you grandpa...... I think Nolen and Cory were going to give themselves whip lash when they were hula-hooping. they were really moving back and forth. If I can get it on here ever I will so everyone can have the laughter I did. Also maybe look at all of your home videos as the season's are changing and it is starting to get cooler outside. The perfect time to look and remember memories of your own families.

Kids say the cutest things

On Friday I was talking to my sister in law Danielle and we were just talking about the kids. Well I had sent them a package a couple of weeks ago it had seemed for Ella's birthday and it had not gotten there yet. Well they usually don't tell the kids that something is coming until the day of because they get so excited. I finally got a date when it was suppose to arrive from the UPS. Danielle finally told the kids that the package would be there that day. It did not show up. they got worried and Adalyn called me and told me that the package did not arrive. Danielle said that the kids were really worried it did not come and wanted to call me to tell me and for me to check on it. Well that day I had been contacted letting me know that my package got put on the wrong truck and it would be there on Friday instead of Monday. As Thursday night came Adalyn was saying her prayers and asked if Aunt Kelli's package would not be put on the wrong truck that it would get put on the right truck so it would be there tomorrow. When she told me this I just smiled and started thinking about how kids are so honest with everything they are thinking and will say it. She was really excited for it to come and she knew who to ask to make sure it would get there. I just thought I would share that little story...
